We’re recruiting an IT DevOps Engineer into a hybrid working role for an iGaming leader with offices in Gibraltar, Israel, Bulgaria and Spain. Our innovative online gaming and sportsbetting client is recognised by the industry as an internationally trusted online gaming and sportsbetting provider.

As the IT DevOps Engineer you’ll be responsible for maintaining production IT systems across the Group, alongside systems design, configuration, administration and upgrading.

Role
✔ Maintain production IT systems in Sotogrande. ✔ Provide production support out of hours on-demand in Sotogrande, Spain. ✔ Advise and assist in availability and performance monitoring or tuning of IT systems. ✔ Design, implement, enforce and review backup policies. ✔ Provide IT technical expertise to application developers & business support teams. ✔ Ensure compliance with IT infrastructure best practice guidelines. ✔ Production and maintenance of technical documentation. ✔ Facilitating consistency and quality of system installation, configuration and management. ✔ Participate in technical R&D to enable continuing infrastructure innovation to support the operational environment and business direction. ✔ Maintain knowledge on iGaming content industry trends. ✔ Available 3 days a week in Sotogrande.
Skills ✔ Expert knowledge of Linux particularly RedHat/CentOS, including system design, configuration, maintenance, upgrade and administration. ✔ Fluent English (written and spoken) ✔ Proven experience working with VMware environments. ✔ Previous successful administration of Linux based web services. ✔ Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI or similar). ✔ Experience with Containerization (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes) and cloud services. ✔ Agile / DevOps methodologies within fast paced, online environment. ✔ Scripting with Bash, Perl, PHP, Python, Go or JavaScript beneficial. ✔ Administration of relational databases, monitoring tools and version control systems desirable. ✔ Ability to manage high workloads and multiple changing priorities. ✔ Problem solver at all levels. ✔ Awareness of current IT technology and business applications/ iGaming and online environments. ✔ Excellent oral and written communication skills. ✔ Computer Science / IT related university Degree or equivalent experience. ✔ Experience within online, fast paced environment (iGaming/ banking, tech) ✔ Confident and strong communicator- written and verbal. ✔ Positive and enthusiastic ‘can do –attitude’ ✔ Excellent communication skills and a strong team player. ✔ DNI (Documento Nacional de Identidad) / NIE (Número de Identidad de Extranjero) & Número de la Seguridad Social advantageous.
