Our Gibraltar recruiters are partnering exclusively with a Middle East based start-up who are building and launching a crypto exchange and seeking to become a regulated and licensed operator through the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission’s DLT provider regime.
As the Chief Marketing Officer you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the marketing strategy and plan, building and implementing go-to-market strategies, delivering customer acquisition through multiple channels and ensuring lifetime value is maximised. You’ll be instrumental in building the brands tone and voice, developing brand and community engagement, followers and advocacy.
This position will start on a part time basis, transitioning to full time in line with business growth and go-live requirements.

✔ Overseeing the planning, development and execution of the crypto company’s marketing and advertising initiatives.
✔ Listening to the trends of the market and directing the efforts of the crypto company.
✔ Defining marketing strategies to support the crypto exchange’s overall acquisition and retention strategies and objectives.
✔ Develop a feasible marketing plan, set marketing goals and objectives and deliver day-to-day implementation for a growth crypto business..
✔ Plan and organise marketing operations to ensure they project the start-up’s unique voice.
✔ Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across relevant digital and social channels (twitter, telegram, discord etc) for the crypto exchange.
✔ Build and develop an online crypto community and following for the brand, engaging with the community and developing brand goodwill and advocacy.
✔ Create a solid network of strategic partnerships, negotiating commercial terms with them.
✔ Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
✔ Proven experience in a similar role successfully owning, leading and managing marketing activities, preferably within the crypto or trading sectors.
✔ Track record of being responsible for budget and performance metrics, driving compelling campaigns across digital and offline channels.
✔ Demonstrable record of managing product marketing capabilities, go-to-market and developing distinctive value propositions for customers.
✔ Experience working with various marketing tools relating to market research, data analytics, website development, product branding, visual and written communication and PR.
✔ A strategic thinker, experienced working in a flexible start-up environment.
✔ Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics for decision-making.
✔ Excellent communication skills.
