The Risk and Compliance Assistant will enjoy working within the Risk and Compliance team as part of a dynamic team of professionals, operating in a high-performance environment.

✔ Supporting the Risk and Compliance Team in all day-to-day activity.
✔ Conducting KYC and Due Diligence checks on new business relationships.
✔ Assisting with AML/KYC monitoring of customer on-boarding and transactional activity.
✔ Perform periodic reviews of existing customer base to ensure ongoing compliance with the regulatory requirements.
✔ Provide assistance and support to Management as required to ensure the maintenance of AML/KYC standards and policy compliance.
✔ Support all staff in relation to ongoing Training requirements and CPD in respect of AML.
✔ Provide assistance with regulatory returns and team projects.
✔ Carry out additional ad hoc duties as required in order to fulfil the needs of the business.
✔ Previous compliance experience within a financial services or similar regulated environment.
✔ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject e.g. Finance / Business / Legal.
✔ Strong IT skills and proficiency in Excel.
✔ Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
✔ Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
✔ Technical knowledge of Gibraltar AML regulations helpful.
✔ Compliance or similar qualifications with ICA or other recognised body beneficial.
✔ Familiarity with screening software such as Worldcheck helpful.
