Candidate Safety and Contact Verification

Candidate safety is integral to the integrity of RecruitBlock’s recruitment and executive search work. This guidance explains how to recognise suspicious approaches, verify official contact and protect personal information. These standards support candidates, clients and the integrity of each appointment process.

Suspicious Approaches

Requests for fees, equipment payments, urgent documents, vague role information or rapid movement to messaging apps should be treated with caution. Copied branding, lookalike profiles, misspelt domains, unusual links and inconsistent contact details are further warning signs.

How we Communicate

RecruitBlock consultants identify themselves clearly and can verify their identity through an official @recruitblock.io email address. We do not charge candidates to access roles, progress through a recruitment process or complete onboarding. We do not request banking details, passwords or security credentials.

If You Have Concerns

End the conversation and retain the messages, screenshots, usernames, profile links and contact details. Do not click unexpected links or share documents until the contact has been verified independently.

If you have disclosed sensitive information or sent money, contact your bank immediately and report the incident through the appropriate official reporting service in your jurisdiction.

Verify

If you are uncertain about an approach, verify it using contact details obtained independently from our website. Do not rely on a verification link supplied by the account concerned.
