Candidate Guidance
Candidate Safety
RecruitBlock takes candidate safety, privacy and process integrity seriously. This page explains how to recognise suspicious recruitment approaches and verify contact claiming to represent RecruitBlock.
If an approach feels unusual, pause and verify before sharing personal information, documents or payment details.
Suspicious Approaches
Be cautious of requests for fees, equipment payments, urgent document sharing, vague role details or pressure to move immediately to messaging apps.
Fraudulent approaches may use copied branding, lookalike profiles, misspelt domains, unusual links or inconsistent contact details.
How We Communicate
RecruitBlock does not ask candidates to pay fees to access roles, progress a recruitment process or complete onboarding.
We do not request banking details, passwords, one-time codes or security credentials through messaging apps or unverified channels.
If You Suspect Fraud
Stop the conversation, preserve screenshots and contact details, avoid clicking unexpected links and do not share documents or financial information until the contact has been verified.
If money has been lost or sensitive information has been shared, contact your bank immediately and report the incident through the appropriate official fraud reporting route in your jurisdiction.
Verify Contact
Unsure whether a message is genuine? Verify through RecruitBlock’s official contact page before sharing information.
Official Profile
Check contact details carefully and verify any unusual approach through an official RecruitBlock channel.
