Business Development Manager’s Mission
RecruitBlock is exclusively managing this search. The Business Development Manager will own the full sales cycle and be responsible for driving new client acquisition and revenue growth through Web3 KOL/influencer marketing campaigns.
A key requirement for this role is prior marketing agency experience within a Web3 environment, with proven success selling KOL/influencer marketing services. This is a high-impact, confidential search with a direct path to Head of Sales for top performers.
Key Responsibilities
· Drive client acquisition by engaging SDR-generated leads via LinkedIn, Telegram, and email, leveraging your crypto and Web3 network
· Lead discovery and closing calls, demonstrating expertise in KOL/influencer campaigns and Web3 marketing strategy
· Craft and present bespoke proposals that convert prospects into long-term clients
· Negotiate and close deals independently, ensuring seamless operational handover
· Upsell clients on additional services and retainers, maximising ROI and lifetime value
· Strategically source new business, expanding the agency’s reach within the Web3 ecosystem
· Represent the agency at Web3 conferences and elite networking events, reinforcing thought leadership in KOL marketing
· Build and maintain relationships with crypto projects, founders, VCs, and marketing decision-makers
· Analyse performance metrics to optimise the sales process and revenue outcomes
Must-Have Experience
· 2+ years of business development or sales experience within a Web3 marketing agency or similar environment
· Proven success selling KOL/influencer marketing campaigns with measurable ROI
· Deep understanding of Web3, crypto, and blockchain ecosystems, including market trends and key players
· Established network of crypto contacts, including projects, founders, VCs, and marketing leads
· End-to-end client management experience, from crafting proposals to negotiating and closing deals
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English (C1–C2), capable of engaging C-level stakeholders
· Self-starter with strong commercial acumen, able to drive deals independently and deliver results
