This Private Banking leader provides a range of Wealth management, Funds, Asset Management and Corporate banking services to international clients. Harnessing over 100 years of heritage it is committed to providing long-term added value, stability and sustainability.
This Business Risk Manager role will be based in Gibraltar and will require office based work.
In this Business Risk Manager role, reporting into the Head of Business Risk Management, you will be working alongside a passionate and knowledgeable team to ensure that Business Risks are identified in a timely
manner, risks assessments are conducted and appropriate controls, processes and systems are developed to mitigate risk in accordance with the business risk appetite.

Role
✔ Execute 1LOD preventative and detective controls.
✔ Perform suitability and cross-border group controls and report accordingly to Group functions.
✔ Prepare agenda, pack and minutes for Quarterly Joint Operating Committee and Monthly Operational Risk Committee.
✔ Assist with the Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) process.
✔ Act as initial point of contact for Gibraltar raised Operational Risk issues.
✔ Act as cover for Product Risk Specialist.
✔ Test changes to back-office software and releases.
✔ Participate in the Operational Risk Committee.
✔ Attend as required other relevant business committees within Gibraltar and London.
✔ Be an active participant in front office / back office collaboration meetings.
Skills
✔ Experience in the banking industry and knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
✔ Proven experience in risk management.
✔ Experience working within small to mid-sized private bank beneficial.
✔ Detailed-oriented with strong analytical skills.
✔ Problem solving mindset and ability to take initiative to resolve issues.
✔ CISI relevant qualification desirable.
✔ Able to multi-task, prioritise work and re-prioitise to business needs.
✔ Ability to suggest and implement process improvements.
✔ Ability to build trusted relationships and work collaboratively.
✔ UK or EEA passport holder.
