Risk and Compliance Manager – Gibraltar

As Risk and Compliance Manager you’ll be part of a dynamic and growing team committed to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance in a leading financial services company.
The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established provider of financial and legal services in Gibraltar, offering a comprehensive range of professional services including company management, pension, trust and private client services. They are trusted by clients worldwide for their high standards and integrity. You’ll be working alongside a team of compliance professionals ensuring that the organization remains compliant with both local and international regulations, supporting the Group onboard new clients, provide regular reports and assist in various projects with a focus on Gibraltar’s financial services and legal regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day compliance and risk activities.
· Manage compliance risk assessments and monitoring processes across the business.
· Complete onboarding checks across the Group.
· Provide guidance and support on risk and compliance matters throughout the business.
· Drive improvements in internal compliance frameworks, policies and procedures.
· Ensure adherence to Gibraltar AML laws and other financial services and legal regulations.
· Provide compliance advice to senior management and key stakeholders.
· Provide assistance with the preparation of internal and regulatory reports.
· Mentor junior team members, supporting their development and training.
Key Requirements
· Proven experience within compliance / AML / Risk in a regulated environment, preferably in pensions, trusts, company services or legal.
· Strong understanding of Gibraltar’s financial or legal services regulations, including AML and client due diligence requirements.
· Strong people management and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
· Ability to improve and develop compliance processes, ensuring regulatory adherence.
· A relevant compliance qualification, such as ICA or similar, is highly advantageous.
