We are recruiting a Finance Director in Barcelona:
✔ Online Investment Platform ✔ Multi Asset ✔ Regulated in Spain Role
✔ Manage all the accounting, finance and tax activities of the Spanish business. ✔ Ensure an adequate financial control environment is established and maintained. ✔ Develop necessary back and middle-office processes and procedures. ✔ Lead month-end close processes and ensure timely completion. ✔ Deliver statutory and regulatory reporting to relevant external bodies. ✔ Provide management and KPI reporting to Spanish MD and HO team. ✔ Approve external and internal invoices and manage payment processes and cashflows. ✔ Oversee processing of payroll for Spanish entities. ✔ Manage relationship with external auditors. ✔ Ensure timely delivery of all statutory accounts. Skills ✔ Certified / Chartered Accountant qualification from a recognised international Accountancy body. ✔ Background in brokerage, online investment or online brokerage sectors required. ✔ Previous experience within audit environment beneficial. ✔ Ability to implement back and middle-office systems, processes, procedures and controls. ✔ Proven experience in accounting, management reporting and budgeting. ✔ Local and IFRS accounting and reporting knowledge and experience. ✔ Tax accounting, planning and reporting desirable. ✔ Relationship management with external auditors and other relevant statutory bodies. ✔ Excellent organisational, communication and prioritisation skills. ✔ Fluency in Spanish and English
