Role Mission 

This is not just another STEM graduate role. Here, you’ll audit the future — from crypto exchanges to DeFi protocols — while contributing hands-on to developing proprietary software that powers real-time auditing and reporting. This unique role offers an equal blend of coding, accounting, blockchain analysis and crypto emersion, giving you a rare opportunity to develop deep technical skills alongside expert financial knowledge. You’ll be coding, learning and applying accounting in equal measure — truly an immersive experience at the intersection of finance and technology. 

Key Responsibilities 

·     Support audit and assurance engagements for clients across digital assets, crypto and blockchain sectors.

·     Prepare and review financial statements aligned with UK GAAP, IFRS and emerging crypto accounting standards.

·     Assist on tax compliance and advisory projects focused on digital asset regulation.

·     Engage directly with crypto clients to understand their innovative business models and deliver tailored audit and advisory support.

·     Develop and enhance proprietary in-house software solutions using Python, SQL, R or VBA to enable real-time auditing and reporting.

·     Progress through the ICAEW ACA qualification with comprehensive training and expert mentoring.

·     Stay ahead of evolving crypto regulations, accounting frameworks and industry best practices.

Must-Have Experience 

·     Undergraduate degree (2:1 or above) or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related disciplines.

·     While we welcome applications from graduates of all backgrounds, we particularly encourage candidates from academically rigorous institutions.

·     Coding or scripting proficiency (Python, SQL, R, VBA) or a strong enthusiasm to develop these skills.

·     Passionate about blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies and the decentralised finance ecosystem.

·     Exceptional analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

·     Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and internal collaboration.

·     Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, and collaborative environment.

·     Commitment to completing the ICAEW ACA qualification.

·     Starting salary £27,500, with structured pay rises following each successful ICAEW ACA exam, progressing up to circa £55,000 as a newly qualified ACA.

·     Exposure to 500+ Web3 clients — from top crypto exchanges to leading DeFi platforms and DAOs.
