Head of Sales | Remote Europe or US | Global B2B Crypto-Financial Solutions Platform

Our client is a global leader in crypto-friendly fintech solutions, providing fast, compliant multi-currency business accounts, crypto-fiat conversions, and cross-border payments infrastructure. The company serves enterprise-level clients, including exporters, importers, ecommerce businesses, agencies, and international B2B enterprises. With over $200M+ monthly transaction volume and aggressive growth targets, they are scaling toward $1B monthly throughput and expanding globally. As part of this ambitious journey, they are seeking an exceptional Head of Sales to spearhead their B2B sales strategy, drive client acquisition, and lead global revenue growth

Head of Sales’ Mission 

As a key hire for this high-growth fintech platform, the Head of Sales will be entrusted with shaping and scaling the company’s B2B sales strategy. This role requires an innovative leader who can build an efficient, data-driven sales engine that targets the most lucrative B2B fintech and crypto markets globally. Working directly with the CEO and the executive leadership team, the Head of Sales will play a pivotal role in driving predictable revenue across multiple regions and verticals, including B2B payments, crypto solutions, and cross-border transactions

Key Responsibilities 

B2B Sales Strategy & Execution 

    Define and execute a B2B go-to-market (GTM) strategy for core fintech products, including business accounts, crypto-fiat conversions, and cross-border payments.  Create tailored sales playbooks for each Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), targeting exporters, ecommerce businesses, service agencies, and digital marketplaces.  Lead the design and optimisation of the sales funnel, from lead generation through client qualification, conversion, and long-term retention of enterprise accounts

B2B Team Building & Leadership 

    Recruit, hire, and manage an experienced B2B sales team, including Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Account Executives (AEs), and Partner Managers with expertise in fintech and crypto sales cycles.  Develop and implement sales metrics, forecasting systems, and CRM processes (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for the fintech and crypto industries.  Oversee pipeline management, sales performance cycles, and incentive models to ensure that the team meets ambitious revenue growth targets

B2B Channel Development 

    Launch and scale agent and referral programs, targeting professionals, trade advisors, consultants, and B2B brokers in high-growth fintech and crypto verticals.  Develop strategic partnerships with compliance providers, trade organisations, and industry influencers, creating a strong network of advocates and partners in key markets. 

B2B Market Expansion 

    Own and drive sales expansion into high-priority regions such as U.S., EU, MENA, and LatAm, ensuring the platform’s solutions are well-positioned to meet the demands of B2B clients across these regions.  Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Marketing teams to tailor the platform’s offerings to regional market demands and regulatory requirements, aligning with global fintech growth trends

 

Ideal Candidate Profile 

Experience 

    7–12 years in B2B fintech or crypto sales leadership, with a track record of building high-performance teams and driving revenue growth.  Prior experience as Head of Sales, Global Sales Director, or Regional Sales Leader in fintech, crypto, or cross-border payments companies.  Proven ability to expand B2B sales pipelines, acquire enterprise-level clients, and lead successful sales teams across multiple regions. 

Vertical Knowledge 

    Extensive experience in the B2B fintech and crypto sectors, with deep understanding of industries like ecommerce, trade, service agencies, and digital marketplaces.  Familiarity with compliance, finance, and transaction speed, enabling a data-driven, strategic approach to lead sales growth in these high-demand markets. 

Skills 

    Demonstrated ability to build and lead B2B sales teams that consistently exceed targets in high-growth fintech and crypto sectors.  Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and expertise in sales funnel management and pipeline forecasting.  Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills in Spanish, Arabic, or French considered a bonus.

    An individual who can develop process-driven sales operations while maintaining a hands-on approach to closing high-value dealsData-driven and KPI-focused, but also customer-savvy and deeply invested in building meaningful relationships with enterprise clients.  Operates with the agility and mindset of a founder, able to innovate and adapt in a fast-evolving industry.

Success Metrics 

    1,000+ qualified enterprise clients onboarded within 12-15 months.  Achieve 2-3x conversion uplift across targeted B2B fintech and crypto verticals100+ partners/agents signed across priority markets, contributing to the scaling of the business.  Build and optimise a fully autonomous, metrics-driven sales engine across 3-4 regionsFull visibility over the sales funnel, revenue forecasting, and team performance to ensure growth targets are met. 

 

Interview Process 

    Stage 1: Screening interview with RecruitBlock to assess experience and cultural fit.  Stage 2: Interview with the CEO and key leadership to evaluate strategic approach and team-building capabilities.  Stage 3: Case study and presentation of a sales strategy for B2B fintech clients.  Stage 4: Final interview with senior leadership to assess alignment with company vision and growth goals.
