RecruitBlock is recruiting for an Operations Officer vacancy for an international Private Bank with offices in multiple countries.
This Private Banking leader provides a range of Wealth management, Funds, Asset Management and Corporate banking services to international clients. Harnessing over 100 years of heritage it is committed to providing long-term added value, stability and sustainability.
This Operations Officer role will be based in Gibraltar and will require office based work.
In this Operations Officer role, reporting into the COO, you will be working alongside a passionate and knowledgeable team in the back office environment to support transactional processing across a range of products.

Role
✔ Processing of securities deliveries and events.
✔ Processing of structured products, fund and trading transactions.
✔ Processing of and setting up Client Credit Card applications as well as credit card payments.
✔ Processing deposits and loans.
✔ Performing reconciliations and investigate transactions as required.
✔ Maintain high levels of risk awareness.
✔ Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant policies, processes and procedures.
✔ Actively participate in weekly back office meetings.
✔ Contribute to the wider team as required to support team deliverables and success.
✔ Be an active participant in front office / back office collaboration meetings.
Skills
✔ Experience in a banking back office environment, particularly in a reconciliations / securities transactional processing capacity.
✔ Knowledge of Qualified Intermediary (QI) regime and reconciliations.
✔ Strong relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
✔ Ability to work under pressure.
✔ Ability to follow policies, manuals and procedures.
✔ Strong communication skills.
✔ CISI relevant qualification i.e. Investment Operations Certificate desirable.
