An international digital-asset business requires senior legal capability across corporate governance and commercial transactions. Its legal function supports decisions involving established financial relationships and newer business models, working closely with colleagues responsible for financial and operational delivery.

The Senior Corporate Counsel will take ownership of significant corporate matters and negotiations. The role requires a lawyer who can assess the commercial consequences of a proposed structure, identify the points requiring specialist advice and provide a clear route to a decision.

Advise on corporate approvals, entity arrangements and governance obligations associated with business activity.

Lead legal work on strategic transactions, including due diligence, negotiation and completion requirements.

Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, making liabilities and ongoing obligations clear to decision-makers.

Assess legal questions arising from digital-asset initiatives and coordinate specialist advice where needed.

Work with Finance, Compliance and commercial colleagues to resolve issues before commitments are made.

Manage external legal resources and improve the consistency of contractual and governance documentation.

A qualified lawyer with substantial corporate or transactional experience in private practice or an in-house legal function.

Strong drafting and negotiation skills, supported by experience advising senior commercial stakeholders.

Relevant exposure to financial services, fintech or digital assets, with the ability to assess unfamiliar structures carefully.

Experience managing several significant matters while maintaining clear advice, priorities and records.

This is a senior legal appointment requiring influence across functions and confidence in executive discussions. The role will work with legal leadership and specialist advisers, bringing proportionate challenge while retaining responsibility for the matters it owns.
