A warm welcome form team RecruitBlock!

RecruitBlock welcomes Charlotte!

– Charlotte, what’s your role here at RecruitBlock?

My role at RecruitBlock is Marketing and Business Administration Intern meaning that I’m an extra set of hands in the Marketing and Administration areas and helping where it’s needed. It can be video marketing, database marketing, events, content marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, corporate comms, internal comms, market specific comms (blockchain, crypto & Web3), email marketing or content creation. I’m learning lots about customer and candidate journey and how to best support start-up and scale up businesses. The variety of what I am doing, across different jurisdictions including UK, Gibraltar and Spain, is such an exciting new and evolving industry is something that really gets me excited about my work.

– How did you get into Marketing and Administration?

When I made the decision to go to Universidad de La Laguna in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. I knew I wanted to work in the field of Economics but was not sure of the exact area so decided to enrol to do a Business Studies Degree. Having completed three years I feel myself drawn towards the Marketing and Administration side of business and would like to concentrate my efforts in these areas.

– What was the moment you knew you’d made the right decision to work at RecruitBlock?

It’s hard to say, it has just felt right from day one. To get the chance to work with such dedicated and talented people is just so much fun. I’m learning new things daily and gaining work experience at the same time. It seems like the ideal place for me to do an internship as I’m able to apply the knowledge I’ve acquired at uni into a real and growing company.

– If you could have dinner with one famous person, who would it be and where would you go?

My ideal dinner date would be Ed Sheeran, but he must bring along his guitar and serenade me whilst I enjoy my food. The venue would need to be small and intimate, with great acoustics of course! As well as a brilliant artist, I think he is a very interesting person and comes across very well in the media, so it would be interesting to see whether he really is as nice as he appears or if he just has a really good PR team! 😉
