Accountant

RecruitBlock is hiring a Group Accountant for a leading crypto-fintech company that connects the crypto market with today’s financial infrastructure. 

The Group Accountant will support the Finance Team in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial information. This role requires a thorough individual who is driven to deliver high-quality deliverables, who is capable of working collaboratively across teams.

This role is office-based in SE London

🧩 How will you spend your time at work?

· Ensure compliance with all tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements

· Lead finance expansion projects

· Reconciling equity accounts

· Developing and maintaining group transfer pricing methodologies, including external advisor coordination

· Contribute to timely and accurate month-end reporting

· Meeting individual and team goals

· Coordinating audit requests with local and group auditors.

· Requests from the Group Financial Controller or Chief Financial Officer.

⭐ Here’s what you’ll bring to this Group Accountant role in London;

· Accounting, corporate tax, VAT, and UK statutory requirements knowledge.

· The ability to use accounting systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite on a daily basis is required.

· Identify and resolve key control and reconciliation issues.

· Automated systems and automation experience.

· As part of a multinational team, English language proficiency is a requirement.

· A full accountancy qualification from one of the main professional bodies (ACCA, CIMA, etc.),

· Knowledge of Netsuite, US & UK GAAPs, and IFRS.

· Previous experience in senior accountancy role within FinTech.

·  Final interview with Directors (60 min).
