RecruitBlock are partnering with a leading blockchain digital asset trading platform, headquartered in Asia, who are seeking a Business Development Manager within their European operation, focused on the UK market. Their mission is to serve the blockchain industry by providing secure, reliable, regulated products and services to consumers and companies around the world.
Based in the UK, you’ll be responsible for helping build out the footprint of this market leading digital assets exchange in the UK with both existing and new partnerships, products and insight. You will be an ambassador for the brand and need to be comfortable presenting to large groups on crypto, digital assets, exchanges and exchange infrastructure.

Role
✔ Primary point of contact for sales and partnerships in the region. ✔ Contribute to sharing business development strategy and identifying high-value partnership opportunities. ✔ Identify key stakeholders at partners and lead partnership negotiations. ✔ Identify and articulate key values, drivers and metrics for potential partnerships. ✔ Utilise and further build existing networks in order to stay on top of key trends and industry developments. ✔ Work alongside internal and external stakeholders to drive execution and ensure continuous progress of key initiatives. ✔ Develop financial, business and brand cases to support new partnership agreements. ✔ Continuously monitor partnership performance, optimise relationships, identify learning and implement learning in future partnerships.
Skills
✔ Proven experience in a sales or business development role within cryptocurrency / digital assets / blockchain. ✔ Experience in a cryptocurrency company, with strong understanding and passion for the crypto industry. ✔Proven track record in closing high value and high ROI partnership deals. ✔ Ability to build business plans, financial and revenue models. ✔ Able to work collaboratively with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders. ✔ Excellent presentation, storytelling and communication skills. ✔ Able to build and maintain relationships, identify needs in the market and come up with solutions to those needs. ✔ Creative, strategic and a problem solver. ✔ Wider knowledge and experience of DeFi, NFTs, DAOs advantageous. ✔ Strong motivation to grow and develop your career further in crypto.
