Chief Compliance Officer in Digital Assets | Europe

The role brings executive ownership of regulatory engagement, governance design and control architecture as the business builds for cross-border scale in a more structured European market.

Role Scope
· Lead the European compliance framework across regulated digital asset operations
· Act as the senior executive contact for regulators, filings, reviews and supervisory engagement
· Build and maintain policies, controls and governance reporting across compliance and financial crime
· Support expansion into new products, services and jurisdictions with sound regulatory discipline
· Advise senior leadership on European regulatory developments and control priorities
· Partner with legal, risk, operations and product teams to embed practical governance across the business
Leadership Requirements
· Deep senior compliance experience within digital assets, fintech, payments, investment services or financial markets
· Strong understanding of European regulatory expectations and cross-border operating models
· Experience establishing or upgrading compliance programmes for a regulated entity
· Confidence with boards, regulators and executive stakeholders
· Clear judgement, disciplined communication and a strong bias toward substance over theatre
