Chief Compliance Officer in Digital Assets | London

The role will lead compliance strategy, regulatory engagement and governance design as the business builds for greater institutional scrutiny and operating complexity.

Role Scope
· Lead the compliance framework across UK-regulated and broader digital asset activity
· Act as the senior executive contact for regulatory engagement, reviews and supervisory dialogue
· Oversee financial crime, sanctions, conduct, monitoring and policy governance
· Advise the CEO, board and senior leadership on regulatory change, control priorities and compliance risk
· Partner with legal, risk, product and operations leadership on new markets, products and governance design
· Establish clear executive reporting across incidents, remediation and regulatory priorities
Leadership Requirements
· Senior compliance leadership experience within digital assets, fintech, payments, brokerage or financial markets
· Strong command of UK regulatory expectations and financial crime controls
· Credibility with regulators, boards and institutional stakeholders
· Experience building or upgrading a compliance function in a scaling environment
· Sound judgement, executive presence and a measured approach to risk, governance and growth
Strategic Context
This appointment will help define the firm’s regulatory posture, governance maturity and credibility with key stakeholders.
