Chief Financial Officer

RecruitBlock is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer for an established AI company that is creating Personal Artificial Intelligence to manage tasks allowing individuals to focus on creative pursuits. They have developed a distributed computing platform that enables anyone to access the power of a “supercomputer” for complex calculations, aggregating idle computing resources from around the world, allowing jobs to be processed during that idle time. The platform operates on a token-based system that creates an ecosystem where people can exchange tokens and computing resources, and providers can earn tokens by contributing their resources to the network.

As CFO you will help lead the process towards commercialisation as the technology has matured, this will involve moving to CEX listing. You will spearhead fundraising, tokenomics design and CEX listing and will therefore have proven experience managing token operations and a strong awareness of decentralisation and design economics.

This role is a fully remote role.

🧩 How will you spend your time at work?

·    Design and build the tokenomics.

·    Develop the fundraising strategy and carry it out in a timely manner.

·    Create a go-to-market strategy and negotiate with central exchanges for the token listing.

·    Execute market makers’ management after token listing.

·    Ensures accurate preparation and timely submission of detailed reports on financial performance.

·    Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to executive.

·    Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.

·    Build financial models based on historical data and industry-specific metrics, and create presentations for investors.

·    Compile information to be submitted to the board for approval and to auditors and various regulatory agency.

⭐ Here’s what you’ll bring to this Finance role;

·    Experienced senior accounting and finance professional.

·    Recognised international accountancy qualification.

·    Prior experience with cryptocurrency (tokens) as an in-house project up to listing on at least tier-2 central exchanges.

·    An analytical mind with a strategic ability.

·    Proven leadership and mentorship skills.

·    Ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships and be seen as a topic authority, objective source of information, and trusted advisor

·    Excellent written and oral communication skills

·    Big plus if you have experience of fundraising in other web3 projects.

🤝 Interview process

·    Interview with our Talent Acquisition Specialist (30 min).

·    Interview with the Director (60 minutes).

·    Final interview with the CEO (60 min).
