RecruitBlock, specialists in executive hiring for senior web3 finance vacancies, are partnering exclusively with a fast-scaling crypto-fiat banking infrastructure platform to hire a strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to build and lead the company’s financial foundation for scale. This is a front-line financial operations and strategy position; as CFO you will own the financial modelling, unit economics, global fund flows, licensing oversight, and investor materials, enabling real-time decision-making at founder and board level.

 

About the Company

We’re seeking a bi-lingual English and Russian A-level finance leader who’s ready to build systems, drive global financial strategy and unlock the next stage of growth. This platform is growing fast and needs a commercially minded CFO, with high-growth start-up/scale-up B2B experience, to take full ownership of finance and support the founders and the CEO in making real-time strategic financial decisions.

The platform provides regulated, global crypto-fiat banking infrastructure to business clients across multiple verticals and geographies.

·     Product: Multi-currency accounts (SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, Fedwire), crypto-fiat exchange, corporate cards, invoicing, payments & API banking.

·     Clients: Importers, exporters, high-volume merchants, crypto trading firms, e-commerce businesses and funds (B2B).

·     Business Model: Subscription + transaction fees + onboarding.

·     Operations: Global presence with multiple licenses, entities and banking rails spanning Europe, USA, Latin America, and Asia.

 

CFO’s Mission

As CFO, you’ll build and optimise the financial systems, tools and processes required to take the business from $150M+/month to $1B+/month in transaction volume:

·     Design and maintain a robust 12–24 month financial model and growth forecasts.

·     Own global cash flow strategy: monitor burn, runway, and capital allocation across fiat and crypto rails.

·     Establish operational unit economics by product, client, region, and channel.

·     Oversee the financial elements of global regulatory compliance and license acquisition.

·     Create dashboards for founders, CEO, and investors to support decision-making.

·     Support investor relations and fundraising from Seed through Series A/B and beyond.

·     Build and lead a world-class finance team, working cross-functionally with product, operations, compliance, and legal.

 

Key Responsibilities

We’re looking for a CFO who can:

·     Set financial strategy: Define global financial growth, revenue, forecasting, and financial product roadmaps for B2B platform.

·     Align operational strategy with financial strategy: Work cross-functionally to ensure cohesion between financial objectives and product, growth, and marketing goals.

·     Own the P&L: Monitor and optimise costs, revenues, and margins, ensuring financial health and profitability.

·     Fundraising & investor relations: Manage the financial aspects of fundraising (Seed → Series A/B+), reporting, and liaise with stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.

·     Regulatory compliance: Ensure the company complies with all global financial regulations, risk management protocols, and auditing requirements.

·     Team leadership: Lead a growing finance team, providing mentorship and developing a strong company-wide culture of financial accountability.

 

Must-Have Experience

We’re looking for a CFO who has:

·     C-level experience or similar leadership roles in B2B fintech, crypto, neobank or complex SaaS environments.

·     A proven track record of scaling financial teams and systems for companies going from $0 to $50M+ ARR or $100M+ in monthly volume.

·     Experience managing a global team, including working across diverse regions and jurisdictions.

·     Direct experience with fundraising, investor relations, and board management.

·     Hands-on leadership in high-growth and complex regulatory environments.

·     In-depth knowledge of financial unit economics, P&L management, and financial modelling.

·     Data-Driven Leadership: Your ability to leverage metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, NRR, churn, runway) will drive your strategic decisions.

·     Hands-On Leadership in B2B: You’ll lead the execution of product, sales, finance, and operations on a global scale.

·     Strategic Fundraising & Investor Relations: You have a proven record of managing fundraising, investor communications, and board relationships.

·     Regulatory Expertise: You will navigate complex regulatory environments with ease and ensure compliance across regions.

·     Exceptional Communication Skills: You excel at engaging with investors, partners, and clients with clarity and authority.
