Chief Growth Officer (CGO) – Crypto Brokerage
Location: UK or Europe (remote or onsite )
The Opportunity
RecruitBlock is partnering with a high-growth crypto brokerage platform, focussed on digital asset trading, research and investment services, to appoint a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to lead the next phase of commercial scale.
This is a pivotal, C-suite growth role for a hands-on, data-driven leader who thrives in B2B, institutional, and high-value client environments.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the CGO will define and execute the end-to-end growth strategy, transforming a successful founder-led motion into a repeatable, institutional-grade growth engine.
The role is either onsite or Europe remote-first and is ideally suited to a senior growth leader with deep experience in crypto, digital assets, or institutional fintech.

Our client is a rapidly expanding digital assets brokerage, focussed on digital asset trading, research and investment services to institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth clients.
The business has scaled to $100m in quarterly revenue, with a positive EBITDA and backed by a strong balance sheet, robust licensing, and institutional-grade infrastructure, the company is well positioned to scale across regulated markets.
Role Overview
As Chief Growth Officer, you will own the entire commercial growth agenda, spanning strategy, revenue, sales, and go-to-market execution.
You will be responsible for:
· Defining the growth blueprint.
· Building scalable commercial systems and teams.
· Driving institutional and B2B revenue growth.
· Establishing predictable, data-led pipelines.
This is a builder role, not a maintenance role — ideal for a leader who enjoys operating with autonomy, ownership, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
· Own and execute the global growth, sales, and revenue strategy, evolving the business from founder-led sales to a scalable, institutionalised growth model.
· Identify, prioritise and penetrate the most attractive client segments (hedge funds, brokers, family offices, private banking / HNW clients, FinTechs etc).
· Translate the firm’s differentiated value proposition into clear go-to-market narratives and offerings.
· Design and build the commercial “assembly line”: funnels, sales playbooks, processes, tooling and partner models.
· Define and implement the optimal commercial setup (in-house vs outsourced, marketing partners, events, conferences), iterating based on performance data.
· Establish and own core commercial KPI’s.
· Drive deal flow and brand visibility through targeted industry events, partnerships, and ecosystem presence.
· Work closely with the CEO, product and compliance to ensure onboarding, service delivery and product evolution support high-touch institutional relationships at scale.
Who This Role Is For

· Bring deep experience in B2B crypto, digital assets, institutional brokerage or fintech, particularly with high-value, low-volume client segments.
· Are Europe based and comfortable operating across EU / UK time zones.
· Thrive in lean, entrepreneurial environments with high autonomy and ownership.
· Combine first-principles strategic thinking with a willingness to personally test, iterate, and refine growth motions.
· Understand the crypto and digital asset landscape deeply.
· Are motivated by building on a strong but underexposed foundation.
Skills & Experience Required
· Proven track record in B2B growth and revenue leadership within crypto, digital assets, fintech or institutional financial services.
· Experience scaling a business from founder-led sales to a repeatable, predictable growth engine.
· Strong understanding of crypto markets, institutional and HNW client needs and competitive positioning.
· Demonstrated success designing and executing go-to-market strategies.
· Experience building and leading small, high-performing commercial teams and/or managing outsourced partners.
· Data-driven mindset with the ability to define, track, and act on core growth metrics.
· Excellent stakeholder management skills, with credibility at CEO, board, and institutional client level.
