Compliance Analyst

RecruitBlock is partnering with a crypto intelligence platform that has seen rapid growth. With Seed and Series A fundraising rounds completed and nearly 2m subscribers this company has an exciting growth plan. It’s now looking for a bi-lingual Compliance Analyst to be based in the Dominican Republic who will be an integral part of the compliance team, helping to ensure the company adheres to regulatory standards.

This is an entry-level role ideal for individuals with the ability to quickly learn compliance processes, strong written skills, sharp attention to detail and fluency in two languages (reading and writing).

While no prior experience in compliance or the crypto industry is necessary, you will need to demonstrate that you are motivated to grow in the field, have a passion for learning, are adaptable to evolving responsibilities and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

This role will be office based in Dominican Republic.

🧩 How will you spend your time at work?

· Assist in reviewing customer onboarding documents to ensure compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) and customer due diligence (CDD) policies.

· Ensure accuracy and completeness of records, verifying customer information and documentation in multiple languages.

· Work closely with senior compliance team members to learn and assist in performing identity verification checks and other compliance-related tasks.

· Support the compliance team in maintaining organized and accurate compliance records to meet audit and regulatory requirements.

· Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners in both languages, ensuring a smooth onboarding and compliance process.

· Assist in drafting reports and documentation required for compliance purposes, ensuring clarity and precision in both languages.

· Quickly learn and apply knowledge about compliance processes, including KYC, Transaction Monitoring (TM), and Sanctions compliance.

· Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting compliance, particularly in the crypto and financial sectors.

· Review complex data and documents carefully to ensure all compliance checks are completed without errors in both languages.

· Spot inconsistencies or potential red flags and escalate issues to senior compliance team members as necessary.

⭐ Here’s what you’ll bring to this Compliance Analyst role in the Dominican Republic;

· Fluent in two languages (both written and spoken), with strong reading and writing skills in both languages.

· Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise, and well-structured documents and reports in both languages.

· Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

· Meticulous in reviewing documents and identifying discrepancies, with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.

· Enthusiastic about learning new concepts and processes, particularly in the compliance and crypto fields.

· Able to absorb and apply new information quickly in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to manage shifting responsibilities and quickly adapt to changing priorities within the compliance landscape.

· Proactive and able to seek guidance when needed, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving.

. While prior experience in compliance or the crypto industry is not required, a strong desire to build a career in compliance is essential
