RecruitBlock is looking for a Crypto Operations Manager for a global trading firm with decades of experience bringing technology and people together.
As Crypto Operations Manager, you’ll be in charge of running our clients’ cryptoasset trading business on a day-to-day basis. Among your responsibilities will be shaping and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to manage operations efficiently. Working closely with internal teams, external counterparties, and exchanges, you’ll develop daily workflows and continually refine operational procedures. Aside from that, you’ll be responsible for the development and professional advancement of the Crypto Operations team.
This is an exciting time to be a part of this US-headquartered business with offices in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia, trading a wide variety of assets including Fixed Income, ETFs, Equities, FX, Commodities and Energy across all major global markets.
This role is office based in London, with a majority of office-based work required.

🧩 How will you spend your time at work?
· Streamline reconciliation and post-trade settlement procedures for cryptoasset trading business.
· Work with Treasury, Global Trading Operations, Legal/Compliance, Tax and Accounting teams as well as the trading desks to integrate new business and implement procedures that follow internal policies and regulations
· Look for ways to improve processes, upgrade technology, and automate.
· Utilize technology skills/experience to automate operations and analyze big data.
· Manage the cryptoasset operations team’s professional development and hiring.
⭐ Here’s what you’ll bring to this Crypto Operations Manager role in London;
· Senior/ Executive experience with cryptoassets settlements with a solid understanding of clearing and settlement processes.
· Extensive experience with cryptoasset platforms like Bitgo, Copper, and Fireblocks.
· Experience with money transfers/wires, banking platforms, and understanding overnight funding costs.
· Senior level experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
· Proven experience working in a similar senior role within crypto.
· Supervisory, leadership, and team management experience.
· Good communicator and presenter.
· Problem-solving ability and analytical mind.
· Exceptional organizational skills.

· Interview with Senior Board (60 minutes).
· Final interview with HR & CEO (30 min).
