RecruitBlock is partnering exclusively in Gibraltar with a leading Ethereum based decentralised trading protocol that’s on a mission to bring better ways to trade to Ethereum. Their suite of interoperable product lines allows customers to securely create, trade and hold digital assets on Ethereum and seeks to address the ever-increasing cost of Ethereum transactions.
In this Gibraltar based hybrid role (3/2), as Finance Assistant, you’ll be responsible for building a good understanding of blockchain transactions with a strong focus on the AP function of the business, problem solving and thinking creatively whilst aiming to achieve continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Role
✔ Take ownership of the invoicing and payments process and ensure timely payments to suppliers. ✔ Be involved with intercompany billing, funding and reconciliations. ✔ Assist in interpreting accounting standards and applying them to technical accounting transactions. ✔ General financial reporting and book-keeping. ✔ Accounting for digital asset transactions. ✔ General Ledger balances reconciliation. ✔ Maintain high quality procedures for work that you are responsible for. ✔ Assist with expense classification for budgeting and forecasting. ✔ Perform any ad-hoc tasks as required by the Financial Operations Manager or other management. ✔ Seek to be fully cross trained across the department to provide support where required.
Skills
✔ Previous experience in a similar role. ✔ AAT fully or part qualified (L3 minimum or QBE). ✔ Excellent MS Excel skills. ✔ Strong interpersonal and communications skills. ✔ Fluent written and oral English. ✔ Able to multi-task and management multiple projects simultaneously. ✔ Excellent organisational and planning skills. ✔ Knowledge of blockchain or a genuine interest in the Crypto space.
