General Counsel in Digital Assets | London

The role will anchor legal judgement at executive level as the business navigates product complexity, regulatory interpretation, governance standards and strategic expansion.

Role Scope
· Lead legal strategy across digital asset products, commercial activity and market expansion
· Advise the executive team on regulatory perimeter questions, product structuring and distribution risk
· Oversee external counsel and manage key legal issues across corporate, commercial and regulatory matters
· Support market entry, partnerships and new initiatives with clear legal framing and execution discipline
· Work closely with compliance, risk and product leadership on governance, disclosures and control alignment
· Bring concise, decision-useful legal judgement to board and executive discussions
Leadership Requirements
· Senior in-house or private-practice legal experience in digital assets, asset management, financial services or fintech
· Strong grasp of product, regulatory and commercial issues across fast-moving markets
· Ability to advise senior stakeholders in clear business language
· Experience operating across more than one jurisdiction and coordinating specialist external advice
· Calm judgement, intellectual range and strong executive credibility
