RecruitBlock is recruiting a KOL Manager for the marketing, strategy, and operations arm of a leading venture capital firm in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space, who are on a mission to accelerate growth for their portfolio companies as well as other companies within the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
With a “hands-on, sleeves rolled up” approach, they drive value-creation initiatives from strategy setting to frontline implementation.
This is a fully remote role.

🧩 How will you spend your time at work?
· Researching and identifying influential individuals within the Web3 ecosystem, including blockchain developers, cryptocurrency analysts, DeFi experts and other thought leaders.
· Building and maintaining relationships with KOL’s through various channels, including social media platforms, industry events and networking opportunities.
· Collaborating with KOLs to create engaging and informative content, such as articles, blog posts, videos, and podcasts that align with brand values and objectives.
· Leveraging KOL partnerships to drive community engagement and foster discussions around products, services and initiatives.
· Monitoring and analyzing KOL-driven content performance metrics to assess effectiveness and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
· Keeping abreast of emerging trends, technologies and developments within the Web3 ecosystem, including blockchain protocols, decentralized applications and cryptocurrency markets.
· Sharing relevant insights and updates with internal stakeholders to inform decision-making and strategy development.
⭐ Here’s what you’ll bring to this senior marketing role;
· Proven experience in influencer marketing, community management or related roles within the blockchain or crypto space.
· In-depth knowledge of Web3 technologies, including blockchain, DeFi, NFTs and smart contracts.
· Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
· Demonstrated ability to think strategically, drive results and adapt to evolving trends and market dynamics.
· Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools and content management systems.
· Passion for decentralized technologies and a commitment to advancing the principles of decentralization, privacy and user empowerment.
🤝 Interview process
· Interview with our Talent Acquisition Specialist (30 min).
· Interview with the Director of Operations (60 minutes).
· Final interview with the CEO (60 min).
