Location: London
Working Model: Office Based
About The Organisation
Our client is a specialist digital asset business supporting a portfolio of innovative organisations across governance, token issuance, compliance, treasury management, financial reporting and day-to-day operational delivery.
Its Foundations team works across multiple client engagements, providing the operational structure, oversight and coordination required to support complex digital asset entities.
The business operates in a fast-moving, technology-led environment where accuracy, organisation and strong process discipline are essential.
The Appointment
The Operations Associate will support the day-to-day operation and delivery of work across a portfolio of digital asset clients.
The role requires someone proactive, highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once, with particular emphasis on compliance, record-keeping and project coordination.
You will work across internal and external stakeholders, helping ensure operational tasks are completed accurately and on time, compliance obligations are properly managed and records remain structured, current and audit-ready.
The appointment also offers the opportunity to identify inefficiencies, improve processes and introduce technology where it can make operational delivery more effective.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage daily operational tasks across a range of digital asset entities, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
· Plan, coordinate and track deliverables across multiple client engagements.
· Keep internal and external stakeholders informed on progress, priorities and outstanding actions.
· Support compliance obligations alongside legal teams and directors, including counterparty onboarding, regulatory filings and periodic reviews.
· Maintain accurate, well-organised and audit-ready records across compliance files, onboarding documentation and wider operational activity.
· Identify inefficiencies within operational workflows and help implement technology-led improvements.
· Maintain and develop the operational playbook, ensuring processes remain documented, current and consistently applied.
· Support effective coordination across governance, compliance, treasury and financial reporting activities where required.
Experience And Capability
You are likely to bring:
· Experience in operations, project management or a related role, ideally within a fast-paced, technology-led environment.
· Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities without compromising accuracy or quality.
· Meticulous attention to detail and a disciplined approach to record-keeping.
· Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability.
· A STEM background would be highly desirable.
· An understanding of finance and accounting concepts, including reporting, reconciliations and audit requirements, sufficient to understand client needs and the context of related workflows.
· Familiarity with KYB, AML and wallet-screening processes and an understanding of why these controls matter.
· Awareness of tools such as Sumsub and blockchain analytics platforms; hands-on experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
· A strong interest in crypto and blockchain, with direct industry experience advantageous rather than required.
· Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Why This Appointment Matters
This role sits at the centre of operational delivery across a portfolio of digital asset clients, helping ensure that governance, compliance, documentation and day-to-day processes are managed accurately and consistently.
It offers the opportunity to take meaningful ownership across multiple engagements while contributing directly to the development of scalable, technology-enabled operational processes.
