The platform supports exchanges, asset managers, custodians and digital asset infrastructure businesses with financial audit, assurance, proof of reserves and digital asset reporting, as the market moves towards greater transparency and institutional discipline.

Following recent private equity investment, the business is building out a founding US audit and assurance team within an established international firm.

The Appointment

This is a founding US appointment within a specialist digital asset audit and assurance firm.

The focus is on individuals already operating in financial audit and assurance for digital asset clients who can contribute immediately to the development of a US practice. This is not a transition role for generalist auditors seeking first exposure to the sector.

Role Scope

·      Deliver and manage financial audit and assurance engagements for digital asset and crypto-native clients

·      Support work across financial statements, disclosures, proof of reserves and digital asset reporting integrity

·      Manage teams and client delivery across technically demanding digital asset audit engagements

·      Contribute to methodology, process development and practice build-out across the US platform

·      Work with senior stakeholders on financial reporting, assurance and verification matters

Executive Profile

·      CPA qualification

·      Current or recent experience as Audit Senior Manager, Assurance Senior Manager, Senior Manager of Audit or Senior Manager of Assurance

·      Experience gained within a Big Four, national or mid-tier audit firm, or a specialist digital asset / crypto-native assurance practice

·      Direct involvement in financial audit and assurance engagements for digital asset, cryptocurrency or blockchain-focused clients

·      Strong grounding in external audit, financial statements, disclosures and US GAAP reporting

·      Clear specialism in financial audit and assurance, rather than IT audit, internal audit, SOX-only or risk audit work

·      Preference for candidates already working within dedicated digital asset audit teams, digital asset assurance teams or specialist crypto-focused practices

Candidates from broader audit backgrounds without direct digital asset client experience are unlikely to be relevant.

This appointment supports a specialist area of the market where assurance capability is being built in line with evolving client, investor and regulatory expectations.
