The firm supports digital asset market participants with financial audit, assurance, financial reporting, disclosures and verification frameworks, aligned to growing institutional scrutiny and reporting expectations.
Following recent investment, the business is building out a founding US audit and assurance team within its established international business.
The Appointment
This is a founding US team appointment within a specialist digital asset audit and assurance practice.
The focus is on individuals already operating in financial audit, assurance and reporting for digital asset clients who can contribute immediately to the development of a US practice. This is not a transition role for broader auditors or reporting professionals seeking first exposure to the sector.
Role Scope
· Lead work across digital asset financial accounting and reporting, audit and assurance engagements
· Support clients on financial statements, disclosures, reporting frameworks and audit readiness
· Contribute to assurance delivery across digital asset accounting and reporting integrity, proof of reserves and related verification work
· Partner with leadership teams and senior finance stakeholders across digital asset businesses
· Support the development of the US practice alongside an established international business
Executive Profile
The most relevant candidates are likely to bring:
· CPA qualification
· Current or recent experience as Audit Director, Assurance Director, Principal, Audit Senior Manager, Assurance Senior Manager or equivalent
· Experience gained within a Big Four, national or mid-tier audit firm, or a specialist digital asset / crypto-native assurance practice
· Direct experience across digital asset financial reporting, financial audit and assurance engagements
· Strong grounding in US GAAP reporting, financial statements, disclosures and external audit
· Clear specialism in financial audit and assurance, not internal audit, IT audit, risk audit or non-financial controls roles
· Preference for individuals currently working within specialist digital asset audit teams or crypto-native assurance environments
Candidates without direct experience in digital asset financial reporting and financial audit within practice are unlikely to be relevant.
