The RecruitBlock London web3 recruitment team is partnering with one of the world’s leading engineering blockchain platforms, which conducts research and builds high-quality tools, to recruit a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for their International Operations.

As Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) you’ll be responsible for developing and executing the company’s marketing strategy. You’ll be responsible for leading and managing all marketing functions, driving brand awareness and implementing effective marketing initiatives.

Role

✔ Create and implement a marketing strategy aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and goals. ✔ Analyze market trends, target audiences, and competitors. ✔ Set clear marketing goals and KPIs to measure campaign success. ✔ Maintain a consistent brand identity across all marketing channels. ✔ Establish and manage brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials. ✔ Monitor and adjust brand strategies continuously to ensure brand positioning and differentiation. ✔ Plan, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, like digital advertising, social media, content marketing, events, and PR. ✔ Develop engaging marketing content, including website copy, blog posts, videos, and other promotional materials, with internal teams and agencies. ✔ Analyze data and monitor campaign performance to maximize ROI and drive lead generation. ✔ Manage the company’s digital marketing strategy, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online ads. ✔ Track website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates, leveraging insights to improve online presence and user experience. ✔ Keep up with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the company’s marketing.

✔ Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning with a high-performing marketing team. ✔ Provide guidance, mentorship, and regular performance feedback to team members. ✔ Manage external vendor relationships, like advertising agencies, PR firms, and freelancers.

Skills

✔ Bachelor’s or Masters degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. ✔ Expertise in blockchain or web3 marketing as a senior marketing leader. ✔ Ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies. ✔ Experience with a variety of marketing channels. ✔ Experience managing brands and understanding branding principles. ✔ Data analysis skills, using metrics and insights to drive marketing decisions. ✔ Capable of inspiring and motivating a diverse team. ✔ Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels with excellent communication and presentation skills. ✔ Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with excellent problem-solving skills. ✔ Collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders ✔ UK citizen with current right to work in UK (sponsorship is not offered).
