RecruitBlock are recruiting a Finance Analyst for a leading institutional staking provider with unrivalled institutional market knowledge and experience, along with deep crypto expertise from a team of core developers and web3 industry veterans.
Our London-based client collaborates with Ethereum Foundation, StarkWare, Gnosis Chain, and many others and participate in the Ethereum Foundation’s core development, Ethereum Improvement Plans, network upgrades, non-custodial solutions, enhanced reporting, optimized performance, and premier service.
Your role as a Financial Analyst will be to report directly to the Director of Operations and to contribute to various financial operations that support the company’s growth. In a fast-paced startup environment, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in rapid change and is eager to take on multiple responsibilities. It is a significant role for anyone looking to develop their career in finance and contribute to a transformative industry, as you will be able to directly influence financial decisions, engage with stakeholders, and drive efficiencies within your remit.

Role:
✔ Prepare, review, and adjust financial budgets in accordance with strategic plans.
✔ Analyze financial data to identify trends, efficiencies, and improvements.
✔ Monitor cash flows and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
✔ Ensure that periodic financial reports are accurate and timely and prepared for internal use.
✔ Assist with the company’s finance operations, such as invoicing, payments, reconciliations, etc.
✔ To achieve financial objectives, collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners.
✔ Take on ad-hoc projects that go beyond your role’s immediate responsibilities and contribute directly to business growth.
Skills:
✔ A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
✔ Relevant experience in a similar role
✔ Strong analytical skills, particularly in financial modeling and statistical analysis.
✔ The ability to achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives with a strong sense of ownership.
✔ Experience in a startup environment, especially in the web3, blockchain, or financial industries.
✔ Expertise in financial software tools and platforms.
✔ Passion for cryptocurrencies / blockchain.
