Key Responsibilities of the Group Accountant in London
-
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements for the group.
Financial Reporting: Contribute to accurate and timely month-end reporting, ensuring transparency and consistency across all financial statements.
Leadership: Lead finance expansion projects and play a key role in driving forward business growth.
Reconciliation: Manage and reconcile equity accounts and ensure all internal controls are effectively implemented.
Transfer Pricing: Develop and maintain transfer pricing methodologies, coordinating with external advisors for compliance.
Audit Coordination: Liaise with both local and group auditors to ensure smooth, efficient audits.
Ad-hoc Support: Assist the Group Financial Controller or CFO with ad-hoc requests and business analysis.
What You’ll Need to Succeed

Experience: 5+ years in a senior accountancy role within the FinTech, crypto, or blockchain sectors.
Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate tax, VAT, UK statutory requirements, and accounting standards (Netsuite, US & UK GAAP, IFRS).
Technical Skills: Expertise in using accounting software, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and automation tools.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve key control and reconciliation issues.
International Collaboration: Strong proficiency in English and experience working within multinational teams.
Analytical Thinking: A keen eye for detail and the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
