Organisation overview
Our client is an international digital-asset business operating across traditional banking and digital settlement. Its treasury function manages a complex mix of cash, digital assets, counterparties and operating entities. The organisation is strengthening the day-to-day control and analytical capability supporting liquidity and balance-sheet decisions.
The appointment
The Treasury Manager will oversee liquidity, funding and asset-liability management across fiat and digital-asset activity. The appointment combines hands-on oversight of positions and cash flows with stress analysis, reporting and the continued development of treasury controls.
This role requires someone who can operate confidently in a continuously traded market while maintaining the disciplines expected of an institutional finance function.
Key responsibilities
· Maintain a clear view of liquidity, funding requirements and exposures across bank, custodian and digital-asset accounts.
· Manage cash planning and monitor balance-sheet, currency, counterparty and market risks across the operating model.
· Run scenario and stress analysis to support treasury decisions and senior risk discussions.
· Oversee reconciliations and data quality across treasury systems, operational records and financial reporting.
· Maintain approval frameworks, limits, controls and documented procedures for money movement and asset management.
· Prepare concise treasury reporting and work with Operations and Technology to improve automation and resilience.
Experience and capability
· Substantial hands-on treasury or asset-liability management experience within banking, payments, fintech, trading or digital assets.
· Strong understanding of liquidity, cash management, funding, currency exposure and counterparty risk.
· Experience working with treasury systems, bank and custodian data, reconciliations and management reporting.
· Practical knowledge of digital-asset or stablecoin liquidity would be valuable, alongside credible traditional-finance discipline.
· The ability to remain precise under changing conditions and communicate clearly with Finance, Risk, Operations and senior decision-makers.
Leadership and stakeholder context
The Treasury Manager will work closely with Finance and Risk leadership and partner with Operations, Accounting, Product, Technology and external banking or custody relationships. The role will provide technical direction on treasury matters and help establish clear ownership, escalation and reporting standards.
