About the Organisation

An established regulated financial institution operating across digital assets and traditional financial services is building out its structured solutions capability. The organisation serves an international client base and is developing products across structured investments, credit, lending and tokenisation. This appointment will take ownership of an existing revenue-generating investment structure while defining the next phase of product development and team growth.

The Appointment

The Head of Structured Solutions will take strategic and operational ownership of the organisation’s structured investment offering, including an established credit portfolio and its underlying counterparty relationships.

The appointment combines structured-product development with institutional credit judgement. The successful person will set the forward product roadmap, oversee counterparty underwriting and portfolio risk, work closely with senior governance stakeholders and external investment-management partners, and build the capability required to support future growth.

An initial transition period will provide access to existing models, data, counterparty relationships and institutional knowledge before full ownership transfers.

Key Responsibilities

·  Set the strategic direction for structured investment solutions, identifying and developing new products across yield, lending, tokenisation and related structures.

·  Take ownership of an established credit portfolio, including counterparty selection, underwriting, ongoing due diligence, exposure management and credit-risk oversight.

·  Originate new institutional counterparties and lead lending opportunities from initial assessment and credit analysis through governance approval, documentation and execution.

·  Prepare and present investment and credit proposals through formal governance processes, maintaining appropriate standards of analysis, challenge and risk escalation.

·  Oversee operational aspects of the investment structure, working with external investment-management, administration and accounting partners on portfolio activity, reconciliation and valuation.

·  Partner with Risk, Treasury, Legal and Operations on credit, market risk, execution, regulatory considerations, stress testing, pricing and system requirements.

·  Build and develop the Structured Solutions team, strengthening analytical capability, maintaining institutional knowledge and expanding resources as the function grows.

·  Act as a senior internal reference point on structured finance, credit markets and digital assets, contributing to wider strategic and product initiatives where relevant.

Experience and Capability

The successful person is likely to bring:

·  Substantial experience across investment management, structured finance, structured products, credit or institutional digital-asset markets, including senior ownership of a product, credit or trading function.

·  Strong credit-underwriting and counterparty-risk expertise, with the judgement to assess economic return alongside underlying credit quality and decline transactions where the risk does not support the pricing.

·  Experience analysing both traditional regulated financial institutions and crypto-native counterparties, including financial strength, capital position, custody structures, venue exposure, on-chain information and cross-jurisdictional risk.

·  Strong quantitative capability and experience building, reviewing or overseeing pricing, risk and structuring models.

·  A track record of developing and launching financial products, with relevant experience potentially spanning lending, yield products, structured investments or tokenisation.

·  Experience working through investment committees or comparable formal governance structures and presenting complex commercial and risk matters to senior decision-makers.

·  Familiarity with both digital assets and traditional financial markets, together with a strong understanding of how structured finance, credit and institutional digital assets intersect.

·  Demonstrated leadership capability, including building teams, developing junior professionals and setting clear strategic and technical direction.

Leadership and Stakeholder Context

This is a senior, high-ownership appointment working closely with executive leadership, investment governance stakeholders, external investment-management partners and functions including Risk, Treasury, Legal, Operations and Product. The Head of Structured Solutions will have meaningful authority over product direction, credit judgement, portfolio management and future team development, with responsibility for establishing the operating model required as the function scales.
