RecruitBlock are partnering with an international FinTech with offices in Málaga, Spain, who specialise in building crypto treasury management solutions. This blockchain leader in Málaga enables companies to integrate digital assets into their payroll, treasury and financial operations.
As R&D Engineer you will work as part of the Innovation Team in Málaga, researching, investigating and building prototypes, maintaining the company’s position as an industry leader and contributor to the crypto community.

Role
✔ Research, design and develop new ideas and concepts that are critical to the ongoing strategic vision of the product and company.
✔ Study the viability of different solutions to high-level ideas or problems, assessing their suitability and evaluating their pros and cons.
✔ Choose the right language, tool or framework to solve the problem presented even if it means learning something new.
✔ Work closely with the Enterprise Architect to ensure proposed solutions fit within the wider architecture.
✔ Closely collaborate with the delivery team during the implementation of solutions you have been involved with at the innovation stage.
✔ Interact with stakeholders and proactively contribute to the wider crypto community.
Skills
✔ Strong experience as a developer, with at least two of JavaScript, Python, C++, Go and Java.
✔ Experience with different communication protocols: REST, Websockets, Kafka, ….
✔ Developing pragmatic solutions based on ideas or partial requirements.
✔ Ability to learn new technologies, programming languages and techniques.
✔ BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or any other related technical field.
✔ Experience with Bitcoin/Blockchain or another Cryptocurrency knowledge helpful.
✔ Experience with any crypto script programming language: Bitcoin Scripting or Solidity.
✔ BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or any other related technical field.
✔ Docker Compose and micro-services experience beneficial.
✔ Cryptography or Cyber Security fields a bonus.
✔ Experience working with distributed, global teams.
✔ Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
✔ Passionate about blockchain and crypto.
