Regulatory Compliance Specialist Vacancy

RecruitBlock is recruiting a Regulatory Compliance Specialist for an investment management and financial services company focused on the digital assets ecosystem, offering a full suite of financial solutions to institutions and direct clients. This digital asset and blockchain leader provides access to the growing digital economy across Trading, Asset Management, Principal Investments, Investment Banking, and Mining. As part of its mission, this global company combines financial sophistication with technical expertise, institutions with Web3 innovations.

Regulatory Compliance Specialists report to the Head of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, EMEA, and play a vital role in ensuring the firm’s compliance with global regulatory standards.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact in your new role:

✔ Ensure that our Compliance Monitoring Program reflects developing regulatory guidance and industry best practices. ✔ Analyze and monitor EMEA regulatory developments in the crypto & digital asset space to ensure the firm remains compliant. ✔ Ensure a coordinated approach to compliance by collaborating across departments to develop and maintain comprehensive policies and procedures. ✔ Identify and mitigate risks by conducting ongoing risk assessments and audits of the firm’s activities. ✔ Ensure employees have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements by providing ongoing compliance training. ✔ Assist the business in achieving best-in-class compliance outcomes by establishing a positive compliance culture. ✔ Develop and maintain relationships with senior management, regulators, and other appropriate stakeholders, and prepare and submit regular and ad hoc compliance reports. ✔ Stay updated with industry trends, regulations and emerging technologies. ✔ Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Reach out if you have;

✔ Experience operating in high-performance environments. ✔ In parallel with your career, you should demonstrate an ongoing interest in learning (through continuing education or professional certification). ✔Senior level experience in front office compliance or compliance advisory with experience in digital assets. ✔ Knowledge of UK and EU cryptoasset regulations, as well as other relevant international regulatory frameworks (UAE, HK, Singapore, US, FATF). ✔ Extensive experience developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance policies and procedures in a complex, fast-paced environment. ✔ Experience drafting regulatory and compliance policies and a commitment to ethical behavior, integrity, and confidentiality. ✔ Ability to explain complex regulatory concepts to a diverse audience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ✔ Ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships across cross-functional teams and with customers. ✔ The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ✔ Passion for fintech, cryptocurrencies, and emerging technologies.
