RecruitBlock are recruiting a Head of Client Operations for a leading Gibraltar regulated challenger bank with a proven track record in e-money solutions.
This international e-money company, with offices in several countries is now embarking on a new phase of growth with innovative banking solutions for business customers.
The Head of Client Operations will be working within a dynamic team of professionals, leading and developing Client Operations, Client Onboarding and implementation projects. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects and optimising operations across various functions. Managing, supporting and guiding a team of project managers and operations professionals and building and fostering a collaborative, results-driven team environment will be key to your success.

Role: ✔ Full lifecycle project management from inception to closure. ✔ Lead, motivate and mentor a team of project managers and operations staff. ✔ Become the internal operations champion within the organisation. ✔ Build development plans, support and embed a culture of continuous development. ✔ Lead the Client Operations function as an integral part of the management team. ✔ Monitor the effectiveness of company processes (client onboarding, payment operations etc). ✔ Liaise with internal and external stakeholders i.e. operations, compliance, client relationships, finance, payment processors, card manufacturers etc. ✔ Cross-functional collaboration to streamline operations and eliminate bottleneck.
Skills: ✔ Proven experience within financial services or similar regulated environment. ✔ Experience in delivering technical products. ✔ Self starter, with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively. ✔ Demonstrated success in leading project teams and achieving project objectives. ✔ Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. ✔ Project Management experience; qualification in a project management methodology a plus. ✔ Visa and Mastercard systems experience beneficial. ✔ Strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills. ✔ Ability to use initiative, chair meetings and steer/influence discussions. ✔ Comfortable working within an office based environment ✔ Excellent communication skills with the ability to break down complex ideas and technical language for a non-subject matter expert.
