This Private Banking leader provides a range of Wealth management, Funds, Asset Management and Corporate banking services to international clients. Harnessing over 100 years of heritage it is committed to providing long-term added value, stability and sustainability.
This Senior Credit Risk Officer role will be based in London and will require office based work.
In this Senior Credit Risk Officer role, reporting into the Head of Chief Risk Management, you will be working alongside a passionate and knowledgeable team supporting the evaluation, preparation and submission of credit application across a range of credit products.

Role
✔ Prepare all credit related documentation including Facility Letter, Pledge documentation and Registration of charges.
✔ Process new limits, attach collateral to limits, process renewal of limits and collateral.
✔ Manage and process of the set up or the rolling of Lombard and commercial and residential mortgages.
✔ Manage and process the set-up of sub-participation.
✔ Process applicable Treasury Rates to relevant credit facilities.
✔ Support the Head of Credit Risk Management with credit monitoring related activities, including assessing unauthorised overdrafts, collateral shortfalls and limit breaches, ensuring that these are appropriately reported.
✔ Perform daily monitoring and review of credit risk and violations.
✔ Prepare reports, presentations and KPIs.
✔ Monitor payment approvals in the event of credit violations.
✔ Maintain up-to-date procedures.
✔ Maintain a strong compliant culture adhering to all relevant BJSS directives and relevant regulatory framework.
✔ Exercise duties and tasks in line with the Bank’s Directives and Governance framework.
✔ Maintain a business oriented, efficient and effective Credit Risk Section.
✔ Active participation in local Credit Committee.
Skills
✔ Experience in the banking industry, or similar, with good understanding and experience in Credit and Operational risks.
✔ Previous experience in credit processing tasks.
✔ Strong relationship skills (internal and external).
✔ Strong awareness of the risk environment.
✔ High level of integrity.
✔ CeMAP qualification required and CISI Risk Management (or similar) very desirable.
✔ Able to multi-task, prioritise work and re-prioitise to business needs.
✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✔ UK or EEA passport holder.
