RecruitBlock is partnering with a crypto start-up on a mission to become the de-facto platform for web3 passive investing. Their decentralised application allows users to create and invest into baskets of crypto assets.
As a Golang Software Engineer you will be joining a fast-paced and innovative start-up environment, operating remotely and working alongside a passionate and knowledgeable team that is on a roadmap to go-live in Q2 2022 with a goal to provide uncomplicated access to crypto index products.
In this remote role (Europe) you’ll be responsible for delivering complex code / features for rebalancing architecture including rebalancing engine, consensus mechanisms and data retrieval. Token options will be offered.

Role
✔ Discussing and collaboratively solving problems via GitHub Issues and PRs, Slack and Jira.
✔ Writing clear documentation, tests, and recommendations for technical problems.
✔ Reviewing code and providing thoughtful, constructive feedback during code reviews.
✔ Working with the research team to develop improvements and optimisations.
Skills
✔ Proven Golang development experience.
✔ Experience with Node.js / web3.
✔ AWS experience.
✔ Knowledge of testing, profiling and debugging best practices.
✔ Experience with microservices architecture and blockchain architecture.
✔ Good understanding of cryptography – private and public keys, signature, hashing, encryption etc.
✔ Experience building, operating and maintaining scalable, distributed, highly available services at scale.
✔ Passion to work in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment.
