RecruitBlock is partnering with a crypto start-up on a mission to become the de-facto platform for web3 passive investing. Their decentralised application allows users to create and invest into baskets of crypto assets.
In this remote (Europe) Quality Assurance Engineer role you will be joining a fast-paced and innovative start-up environment. You’ll be operating remotely and working alongside a passionate and knowledgeable team that is on a roadmap to go-live in Q2 2022 with a goal to provide uncomplicated access to crypto index products. Token options will be offered.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the required level of software quality throughout the front end application.

Role
✔ Testing applications and maintaining them throughout the SDLC.
✔ Testing the logic of Solidity smart contracts.
✔ UX/UI testing.
✔ Testing related to changes: smoke testing, re-testing, regression testing and sanity.
✔ Review requirements, specifications and other documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.
✔ Close collaboration with the development team.
✔ Creation and maintenance of test artifacts.
Skills
✔ Experience in manual (web, mobile) or API testing.
✔ Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and processes.
✔ Writing and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists, bug reports).
✔ Understanding of the HTTP protocol and RESTful APIs.
✔ Knowledge of client-server architecture.
✔ Skills in REST API testing (experience with Postman or similar tools) and Chrome/Firefox DevTools.
✔ Experience with bug tracking and test management systems (Jira, Confluence, etc).
✔ Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
✔ Strong sense of self-motivation, organisation and strong analytical skills.
✔ Strong English communication skills both spoken and written.
