RecruitBlock are recruiting a Client Accounting Assistant for a leading international provider of professional business services in Gibraltar.
In this Gibraltar based role you’ll be working within the Client Accounting team as part of a dynamic team of professionals, operating in a high-performance environment.

Role: ✔ Preparing financial statements for client companies and trusts. ✔ Delivering high quality bookkeeping/accounting services to a diverse range of Gibraltar clients. ✔ Preparing working papers and documentation to support financial statement balances. ✔ Updating account systems / software, including recording journal entries. ✔ Perform tax computations and completing relevant tax returns. ✔ Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders. ✔ Ad hoc financial analysis and support to Client Accounting Manager.
Skills: ✔ AAT Qualified accountant or part qualified ACCA / ACA looking to continue studies (or international equivalent). ✔ Previous experience preparing financial statements. ✔ Strong Excel and Word skills. ✔ Analytical mind, with high levels of attention to details and accuracy. ✔ Strong organisational skills, pro-active attitude and able to prioritise and manage time effectively. ✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ✔ Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. ✔ Viewpoint experience advantageous. ✔ Desire to exceed expectations.
