Client Onboarding Executive

We are exclusively partnering with one of the leading operators of institutional exchanges for FX and crypto currency trading with offices in Gibraltar. A regulated group with a global client base, it delivers efficient market structure and transparent, precise and consistent execution to all market participants. It’s regulated institutional spot crypto currency exchange allows global institutions to acquire, trade and hold the most liquid digital assets safely and securely and has been recognised as an industry leading exchange in several benchmark reports.

As Client Onboarding Executive you will support clients and the sales team in onboarding new clients and resolving account opening queries related to FX and Cryptocurrency accounts.

Role ✔ Act as an ambassador for the company, representing the through the client onboarding team. ✔ Conduct full KYC / AML check on all new clients in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. ✔ Act as 1st point of contact for client onboarding and asset the sales team in any account opening queries. ✔ Understand and anticipate the needs and expectations of clients. ✔ Investigate potential clients in order to identify possible PEPs or Sanctioned Individuals for KYC and risk purposes. ✔ Liaise with clients and various internal departments including Client Services, Sales and Compliance regarding client setups. ✔ Conduct desktop investigations of clients utilising all available internal and external systems. ✔ Ensure accurate KYC / AML information is recorded for risk management purposes. ✔ Assist with ongoing maintenance of client information and documentation, keeping all databases up-to-date and ensuring accuracy of information. ✔ Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of client onboarding experience. ✔ Feedback recurring client issues to the Head of Compliance and relevant internal departments where necessary. ✔ Champion swift and effective service that increases opportunities and revenue. ✔ Maintain the highest professional service to clients at all times.

Skills ✔ Diligence and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. ✔ Ability to work from Gibraltar office. ✔ Performance driven and results orientated with a strong bias for action and outcome. ✔ Strong problem solver. ✔ Confident and proactive in communicating with people at all levels and working successfully as part of a team. ✔ Willing to go the extra mile in order to meet client requirements, solve their problems and encourage future business. ✔ Strong proficiency in MS Office applications. ✔ Previous KYC / Onboarding experience beneficial. ✔ Experience and knowledge of the financial sector, including Crypto and Exchanges advantageous.
