RecruitBlock are partnering with a leading blockchain digital asset trading platform, headquartered in Asia, who are seeking a Country Manager within their European operation, leading business growth in Turkey. Their mission is to serve the blockchain industry by providing secure, reliable, regulated products and services to consumers and companies around the world.
As Country Manager for Turkey you will be responsible for overseeing the brand and products in Turkey. You’ll create and deliver the business’s short and long-term objectives, building the relevant business infrastructure, managing delivery timelines, executing the roadmap, whilst building and leading a small team.
This is an opportunity to work with a market leading crypto exchange and lead its business growth in Turkey. You’ll have a strategic and hands-on mindset, working with stakeholders across all teams to deliver best-in-class business performance and long-term profitability.

Role
✔ Execute operational and commercial strategy in Turkey. ✔ Build necessary infrastructure required for success in Turkey. ✔ Establish banking, legal and professional services relationships that facilitate business operation and growth in Turkey. ✔ Oversee day-to-day operations of the local Turkey business unit. ✔ Ensure products are aligned to business objectives and contribute to increasing market share, customer retention, strong CLV, customer engagement and advocacy and business profitability. ✔ Collaborate with stakeholders (Product, PMO, Marketing, Compliance etc) to deliver localised products in line with roadmap timelines. ✔ Ensure all products are fully compliant with local regulatory requirements. ✔ Perform ongoing market-trend reviews and analyse competitor behaviours to identify opportunities ahead of the curve. ✔ Responsibility for local business unit P&L and authorised business signatory.
Skills
✔ Proven experience and knowledge of the Turkish cryptocurrency ecosystem. ✔ Familiarity with local legal and regulatory requirements. ✔ Track record of delivering business performance and operational performance within a FinTech environment, preferably within crypto. ✔ Results-driven and execution-focused mindset. ✔ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. ✔ Understanding of financial performance and financial management of crypto product portfolios. ✔ Ability to successfully build and maintain relationships and consensus with both internal and external stakeholders. ✔ Strong planning, commercial, analytical and business skills. ✔ Wider knowledge and experience of DeFi, NFTs, DAOs advantageous. ✔ Strong motivation to grow and develop your career further in crypto.
