Our Gibraltar Recruiters are partnering with a leading blockchain digital asset trading platform, headquartered in Asia, who are seeking a Finance Director for their new Gibraltar operation, which is currently applying for a DLT provider license. Their mission is to serve the blockchain industry by providing secure and reliable products & services to consumers and companies around the world.
Based in Gibraltar, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the Finance operations of the Gibraltar business, working closely with the overseas management team, ensuring that robust financial reporting and controls are established, leading the budgeting process, and providing timely financial reporting and information to the leadership team.

Role
✔ Financial reporting preparation and analysis of financial and operational performance. ✔ Reporting of results, trends, KPI’s ✔ Financial forecast preparation. ✔ Established financial controls, systems, processes and procedures. ✔ Preparing annual budget for local entity and offshore operations. ✔ Cost control and cost allocations (including offshore companies). ✔ Cashflow, cash management and supplier payments. ✔ Responsibility for all affiliate marketing payments include provisions and legal aspects. ✔ Prepare quarterly review and budget presentations and assist in the cascading down of key initiatives. ✔ Assist in preparation of material for Board of Directors and executive leadership. ✔ Provide support for the company’s quarterly reporting requirements.
Skills
✔ Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or international equivalent). ✔ Experience in a similar senior FD or FC role. ✔ Strong ability to synthesize complex or diverse information. ✔ Ability to educate, inform and influence cross-functional middle managers through written or verbal communications. ✔ Able to multitask and prioritize in an effective and efficient manner. ✔ Able to operate as a key member of an international team. ✔ Experience within cryptocurrency / digital assets / blockchain a strong bonus.
