Role
· Manage all the accounting activities of the Spanish business.
· Ensure an adequate financial control environment is established and maintained.
· Develop necessary processes and procedures.
· Review and approve external and internal invoices and maintain payment processes.
· Processing of payroll for Spanish entities.
· Lead month-end close processes and ensure timely completion.
· Deliver reporting to HO senior management team.
· Manage relationship with external auditors.
· Ensure timely delivery of all statutory accounts.
Skills
✔ Previous experience within a similar position, ideally within a Financial Services, FinTech or Online business.
✔ Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or International Accountancy Qualification (ACCA, ACA etc)
✔ Proven experience in accounting, finance, management reporting and budgeting.
✔ Relationship management with external auditors and other relevant statutory bodies.
✔ Excellent organisational and communication skills.
✔ Fluency in Spanish and English
