We are recruiting a Group Management Accountant for a leading Gibraltar Law Firm. Our client provides legal and professional business services in FinTech, Crypto and new technologies in Gibraltar and is recognised as an international leader in its field.
The Group Management Accountant will be overseeing the Group accounting function, with 4 direct reports, you’ll lead the accounting and finance team of the Group, operating within a high-performance finance environment.

Role
✔ Oversee the production of timely and accurate Group financial management information. ✔ Consolidating budgets, forecasts and re-forecasts. ✔ Performing key Group reconciliations. ✔ Owning and managing the Group financial year-end processes. ✔ Preparing and owning all sets of Group statutory accounts. ✔ Facilitating the delivery of audit information on a timely basis. ✔ Managing relationships with external auditors. ✔ Managing, coaching and developing 4 direct reports, alongside further indirect reports.
Skills
✔ CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified accountant (or international equivalent). ✔ Strong Excel and Word skills. ✔ Ability to analyse and manipulate large datasets within Excel. ✔ Proven ability in developing and improving reporting in line with business needs. ✔ High levels of experience with accounting systems, preferable Viewpoint and ALB. ✔ Proven experience in team management, coaching, nurturing and developing team members. ✔ Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise and manage time effectively. ✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ✔ Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels. ✔ Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
