RecruitBlock are partnering with a leading blockchain digital asset trading platform, headquartered in Asia, who are seeking an Operations Manager within their European operation, focused on the UK market. Their mission is to serve the blockchain industry by providing secure, reliable, regulated products and services to consumers and companies around the world.
As the Operations Manager you’ll have the opportunity to work in a market leading exchange and help build operational excellence. You will have both a strategic and hands-on mindset working with stakeholders across all operational teams to deliver best-in-class business operations and long-term profitability.
Based in the UK, you’ll be responsible for creating synergies and efficiencies across the business operations. You will have touchpoints with all operational areas of the business, improving and positively impacting the organisational design, business model and operational activity to ensure long-term business growth and sustainability.

Role
✔ Build relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence. ✔ Ensure the business operates efficiently to meet goals and objectives. ✔ Establishing relevant internal performance management metrics and KPI’s and reporting structures to enable effective reporting and analysis of business performance. ✔ Build, manage and deliver executive level reporting to manage risks and issues and improve team communication and collaboration. ✔ Provide ongoing operational advice, insight and recommendations to the local and international management teams. ✔ Partner with Finance to manage, analyse and review organizational budgets, measure and track ROI. ✔ Ensure organisational planning and business process alignment in order to develop vision, objective, resource and capital planning congruence.
Skills
✔ Proven experience in a Senior Operations role within cryptocurrency / digital assets / blockchain. ✔ Proven experience in operations management or operations consulting. ✔ Track record of delivering operational improvement and excellence within a crypto or trading environment. ✔ Strong familiarity with business operations software tools, methodologies and best practices. ✔ Results-driven and execution-focused mindset. ✔ Knowledge and experience of financial services regulation and legal requirements and controls. ✔ Strong familiarity with operational best practices within a regulated financial business environment. ✔ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. ✔Ability to successfully build and maintain relationships and consensus with both internal and external stakeholders. ✔ Wider knowledge and experience of DeFi, NFTs, DAOs advantageous. ✔ Strong motivation to grow and develop your career further in crypto.
