RecruitBlock are recruiting a Senior Performance Engineer for an international crypto leader who specialise in building enterprise crypto treasury management solutions.
This Málaga based blockchain company enables companies to integrate digital assets into the treasury, payroll and financial operations.
The Senior Performance Engineer will have a strong passion for problem solving and will work closely with developers and product owners to drive and oversee the business’s testing effort. The primary focus will be on test automation, but there will also be requirements for assisting with the functional testing of products.

Role:
✔ Work as part of the delivery teams with a focus on test automation.
✔ Design, implement, and maintain of performance tests.
✔ Define performance testing strategies.
✔ Define QA metrics and reports that will be used to determine & communicate testing results.
✔ Document and raise defects concisely.
✔ Contribute to small development tasks on platform when required.
✔ Work closely with product owners and team delivery leads to assist in release test automation.
✔ Implement solutions for automating manual API test plans.
Skills:
✔ Proven experience in test automation or software development.
✔ Experience designing & executing automation test plans.
✔ Extensive experience in Performance Testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, LoadNinja or others.
✔ Java programming experience.
✔ Experience with different aspects of performance Testing like Load testing, Stress testing, Spike testing etc.
✔ Good knowledge on server side including concepts like JVM, threads, CPU and Memory.
✔ Ability to identify bottlenecks and track performance of a system across releases.
✔ Experience testing REST / event-driven web services in a microservices architecture.
✔ Experience with git version control system.
✔ Ability to contribute productively to a fast-paced development team.
✔ Willing to learn and develop E2E automated tests with other testing technologies like Cypress and Serenity.
✔ Passion for cryptocurrencies / blockchain a bonus.
✔ Exposure to Gatling, Scala, Angular applications, GraphQL and NodeJS applications all helpful.
✔ Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.
