RecruitBlock is partnering exclusively with an authorised regulated Investment Fund Manager, who are seeking a Financial Management Analyst for their Gibraltar operation.
Our Gibraltar client’s mission is to offer global, tailored alternative investment solutions to institutional clients, asset managers and private investors, structuring their own investment products and engaging with selected partners to set up new investment vehicles.
As Financial Management Analyst in Gibraltar you’ll be responsible for designing, managing and controlling the financials of the investment vehicles, ensuring the completeness of the financial position of each investment vehicle and compliance with policies and GFSC regulatory requirements.

Role
✔ Design and implement the administration and accounting policies of each investment vehicle based on the inherent characteristics of the specific investment strategy and management framework. ✔ Determine the valuation methodologies that must be followed throughout the accounting process by analysing each instrument (asset or liability) according to the International Financial Reporting Standards. ✔ Review daily the financial position of the investment vehicle and post relevant accounting entries. ✔ Liaising and/or resolving issues with providers, clients and other third parties or stakeholders related to the vehicle. ✔ Perform periodic reconciliations of accounting information against the accounts held by the vehicle. ✔ Overview and internally coordinate payments to each counterparty or service provider according to the relevant Administration policies. ✔ Implement and design internal and external financial reports according to each target audience and their needs. ✔ Support the financial audit function of each investment vehicle and follow up/ implement required improvements which will ensure a robust and sound financial management framework.
Skills
✔ Proven experience in a similar role or an accounting/business administration role. ✔ Bi-lingual written and spoken Spanish and English for this onsite Gibraltar position. ✔ Previous experience working with accounting software. ✔ Strong analytical skills with ability to manage, organise, present and report financial data. ✔ Knowledge and experience with Excel and other Microsoft products. ✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. ✔ Able to multitask, problem-solve and prioritize in an effective and efficient manner. ✔ Experience within cryptocurrency / digital assets / blockchain is very beneficial. ✔ Ability to work in an office-based position in Gibraltar
