QA Automation Engineer (Java / Scala) Mid-Level – Málaga / EU / Remote Vacancy
RecruitBlock are partnering with an international FinTech with offices in Málaga, Spain, who specialise in building enterprise crypto treasury management solutions. This blockchain leader enables companies to integrate digital assets into their payroll, treasury and financial operations.
As a QA Automation Engineer (Java) you will work closely with developers and product owners in Málaga, driving and overseeing the business’s performance testing and assisting with the functional and automation testing of product.

Role ✔ Part of the delivery teams with a focus on performance testing and automation. ✔ Work alongside developers to write acceptance and integration test in Java. ✔ Create and execute manual / load and performance test cases and report test results. ✔ Maintain test scripts to meet software release deliverables, project testing requirements and other quality assurance considerations.. ✔ Define QA metrics and reports that will be used to determine and communicate testing results. ✔ Document and raise defects concisely. ✔ Work closely with product owners and team delivery leads to assist with test automation for product releases. ✔ Implement solutions for automating manual e2e and API test plan.
Skills ✔ Strong experience in performance testing, automation or software development. ✔ Expertise in building and executing tests in Gatling (Scala). ✔ Experience designing & executing automation test plans. ✔ Experience programming in Java. ✔ Experience with test automation tools like Selenium or Serenity. ✔ Experience testing REST web services and version control systems (ideally Git). ✔ BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or any other related technical field. ✔ Ability to contribute productively to a fast-paced development team. ✔ Passion for blockchain / cryptocurrencies beneficial. ✔ Experience writing and performing load testing using tools like Gatling advantageous. ✔ Typescript, GraphQL, NodeJS helpful, as is experience testing Angular applications. ✔ Fluent verbal and written English communication skills. ✔ Passionate about blockchain and crypto.
